Hi! I'm Katy, the owner and floral designer here at Dogwood Floral. We are a Knoxville floral studio specializing in garden-style and bespoke floral arrangements in East Tennessee. This style is a more organic approach to floristry than some of the more classic forms, and aims to reflect the ways that flowers and foliage grows naturally. This is why it sometimes has that "wild" or more "messy", often greenery-heavy look. We love incorporating a lot of texture into our designs to add visual interest and depth!

Flowers are amazing and powerful, from their natural beauty to the way that they can make the day of someone unsuspecting. I have grown a passion for the principles and elements of floral design over the past few years and have fallen in love with creating fresh designs that bring happiness to my clients and their loved-ones or a wedding couple on their big day. Through floral design, I have been so honored and humbled to witness and celebrate some of life's biggest moments for my clients and their loved ones.  I pledge to work closely with my clients one-on-one, paying close attention to detail in order to bring their floral visions to life and to ensure a seamless service to the best of my ability.

We specialize in small, intimate weddings and elopements and moderate-sized ceremonies and receptions, but also service larger weddings and events as well as custom orders. Q: Do you have a physical location I can visit?

A: Not currently! We work out of a private floral studio, and consultations are held over the phone or via Zoom/video call. We offer full-service delivery to your event location typically within a 2 hour drive of Knoxville, TN. Please inquire for long distance weddings and events.


Local wedding pickups or small orders not requiring delivery are typically coordinated with clients off-site, but I will work with you to try to find a convenient solution!

Q: What is the best way to get ahold of you? I don't see a Phone number.

Q: Do you offer event set-up and breakdown?

For full weddings, we do offer event set-up and delivery for a standard fee, depending on the complexity of the work involved and distance from Knoxville, TN. Most typically, we do not handle event-break down, so please be sure to account for this in your planning. However, for large weddings, end of night tear-down may be available as an add on for an additional fee - please inquire.

Q: How long will it take to receive a floral estimate?

After booking a full-service or event consultation, it can typically take anywhere from 5-10 business days to properly estimate your order. For elopement packages with no consultation, it typically takes around 1 week. Sometimes we can turn them around in a day or two! This estimate may also vary around holidays and peak floral seasons.

Q: What kind of events do you service?

We offer service for most celebratory events! Weddings and elopements are our speciality, but we can also do custom orders for things like parties, graduations, corporate functions, baby showers, fundraising events, etc. We do not typically service funeral or sympathy requests at this time.

Q: Are you Available for my Wedding Date?

A calendar with availability dates will be available soon! In the meantime, please forward your wedding or event date to me via to inquire about availability.

I strive to commit to fully commit to my clients on their wedding or event days and put my heart into making their visions come to life. For this reason, I have opted to only accept one wedding or event per date available. While this means availability may be more limited, I will be able to work with you closely on an individual basis and give you full, undivided attention through the estimating process and creation of your florals!

Q: How do consultations work?

I am happy to chat with you before deciding to book your floral services with me through a consultation. I typically hold consultations via Zoom (virtual appointment) at a time that is convenient for you. This will give us a great opportunity to meet each other, talk about your vision and get a feel for your floral style!


Consultations typically last between 30 minutes and one hour. Bringing some pictures or a Pinterest board to the appointment is a great way to share what you like or dislike. Once we chat, I will draw up an estimate for you based on what we talked about outlining suggested flower choices, colors and arrangements. This estimate will give you a general idea of style and design approach and any additional services.
